We met up with the rest of our group later in the afternoon, as they had been riding the hop-on-hop-off bus around the area, and tried to catch a river boat cruise, since, well - the Danube is pretty famous. However, we missed all the tours for that too (it seemed to be quite a thing for us on this holiday!), so we walked along the river for a while. We found all sorts of colourful grafitti along the walls - apparently Vienna is quite an arty place - so we posed for lots of fun photos!
Our friends headed off again on the hop on hop off bus, but we wandered around to see more of the city, visiting a viewpoint spot, having lunch in a really cute cavern, and meeting up with them later for some famous Vienese Sacher Torte!
