The Circus Maximus used to be this big place where they would race chariots in ancient Rome, and they would use it for big events. At one time, it was the biggest arena in the Roman Empire. While a lot of Rome has been preserved, sadly, after walking there, we learnt that this was one of those places they hadn't kept. It's now a public park! So Josh was pretty dissapointed when we got there!
