We weren't quite in the right place for the fire festival, but did run into some locals, who also didn't have a clue, as well as Larissa. While we walked around the town, searching for food (none - absolutely none - the story of my life!) we went into Aso Shrine while we waited for some of Joel's friends to come and collect us and save us from the ghost town!

Aso shrine
We weren't quite in the right place for the fire festival, but did run into some locals, who also didn't have a clue, as well as Larissa.
